11/04/2023I use this as a spare freezer that i can easily move out of the way, was going to buy a deep freezer but a friend of mine has one of these coolers and when i seen it i figured it would suit my needs perfectly and it has.

Exceptionally quiet
05/11/2022Great little fridge/freezer for travelling. This will be handy for our trips back and forth to Arizona. Delivery was very fast, arrived 4 days earlier than expected. I would recommend this fridge/free,er to anyone. We would be looking at purchasing a second d unit.

- Q:I believe I have an earlier model of this freezer that is about 4 years old. Unfortunately it can only get down to -5º C/ 24º F even when the ambient temperature is 17º C/ 65º F . It used to get to -18º C/ 0º F. Is the compressor serviceable, or may freon may be added, and if so where and how may I get it done? Also what are the differences between this freezer and the 63 quart Stakol freezer that creates such a price difference?

Costway representative - Q:Our cooler that only has one year and twenty days (so not even 1 month after garanty....) won't even start. I just stopped working and we tried with both 120 and 12 volt cords and it won't start again. The screen just stay black. - Q:I keep getting the low-voltage error even though my battery is pushing 13.3 volts (it's a lithium RV batter). It seems fine when plugged into AC, I looked on the plug that came with the unit and the converter box that transforms the AC into DC is sending 14.5 volts into the fridge and that seems to work fine. Is there a way to somehow turn off the low voltage protection?? Or is there a part in the electronics that can be replaced? Maybe the internal voltage meter is wrong?? Right now I can't use this unless I'm home plugged into the wall. So it's basically useless.

I tend to use it more during road trips and camping trips, which occurs about once every few monthsA:It's ok to keep the power on, but it is recommended to clean the machine and store it after the power off.
